Mission

Ensure all students in our school to become knowledgeable, skillful, confident individuals that adopted Kemalist thought system in the educational environment that equipped with scientific infrastructure as a respond to the evolving needs of 21st century's.   

History

Our school has started for education in 1988-1989 academic year. Our annex building was opened in 1994. 

Our national poet Mehmet Emin Yurdakul's name was granted to our school by General Directorate of Primary Education in 1988.

Founding Director of our school is Celal Yıldız.

Yaşar Polat serves as the principal of our school now. 

Özgür Ay and Göktay Ölmeztürk serves  assistant principals of our school. 

Statistics

Our school has two 3-storey building and a 6820 square meter garden, continues to bilateral education. Our school has 600 students are studying at 24 classes. Average class sizes are between 25 and 30. Our classrooms are equipped with computers, projectors and related training equipment. There are a principal, 2  assistant principal, 55 teachers, 1 deputy and 4 assistant personel in our school. In addition, school has  hall with 100-seat, an IT room, Science and Technology Laboratory, Library, Teachers Room, Counseling Service, a canteen and a sports room. All kinds of sports activities are carried out in our school garden.

Projects and social activities

National holidays, celebrations are carried out in our school garden at specific days and weeks. For example; nursing homes are visited during elderly week. Mothers coming from the nursing home can have breakfast on Mother's day. In animal rights protection week, visits to the animal shelter are organised. 2013-2015 academic year, 8 countries were visited through Comenius project with 39 mobility.
